VGSOM (IIT-Kgp) : Admissions 2013-15

Vinod Gupta School of Management is the first B-School in the IIT Systems offering 2-year,4-semester,full time residential MBA programs.The MBA curriculum of VGSOM is continually upgraded to meet the needs of the country.Candidates must possess first class Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology or the  first class science degree in Science Economics or Commerce with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelors level,to be eligible to apply to VGSOM.There is a relaxation in marks for SC/ST candidates.In addition,candidate’s  score in CAT 2012 to be conducted by the IIMs  will be considered for admissions to VGSOM for 2013-2015 MBA program.VSGOM follows GOI norms on the reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC candidates and persons with disability.Finally,IIT Kharagpur is committed to ensure that a student’s financial resources do not become a constraint for pursuing MBA education at the school.Consequently,VSGOM has put in place a liberal financial aid programme for needy students.In additon,bank   loans may be availed by the students at preferential rates and payments terms to meet  their fees and expenses.
